About Us
The McIntosh’s established their company in 2004 and in 2005 began offering art and craft supplies, puzzles, kites, rockets and science kits at their single store. Beefing up product lines in 2007, they added Traxxas remote control cars & trucks, plastic military model kits, wood model kits, die cast collectibles and hobby tools. In the later half of 2007, web sites were added to the company offering and demand for their products grew substantially outside the Michigan tri-county areas of Jackson, Lansing & Ann Arbor. Since that time they have expanded product lines to include plastic, resin & metal fantasy, science fiction, horror and movie model kits. In 2008, the company was streamlined for alternated methods of payment, such as Pay Pal and International purchases.
We are sure the hobby industry is headed once again for modeling and we have set our sites for being part of that industry. Uniquely, we will be moving away from the Hobby Store on Main Street presentation to the computer based web order industry leader consumers and modeler’s respect. As prices increase worldwide for food, utilities and fuel, we are beginning to see an increase in home based industries, business, services and hobbies. Not only has stay at home modeling increased, but consumer technology and availability have increased as well. The old Hobby Store on Main Street is still required for population centers over 500,000 people, but the majority of people are heading for the computer for their search and purchase; it is the age of the computer, information, touch-screens and 3-D interactive software.

Increased Prices - Increased Quality!
We, as has the consumer, felt the pinch of rising fuel, food and utility cost. These rising cost are affecting every aspect of our quality of life and cost for everything. We have had to make price increases across the board, as has our distributors for products and freight. We have had to make sacrifices to keep the company moving forward when other hobby stores are going out of business. Instead of decreasing the quality of products to a price the typical consumer can afford, we continue to sell those products of higher quality and price. Why? Because enough people expect the best, not the cheapest. Unfortunately, this has reduced our market shares in the United States. In an effort to recoup this loss we have begun selling our products outside the USA and it seems to be working. We have added a line of Garage Kits previously unavailable to us from our typical distributors due to limited availability. These kits are produced by some of the finest artist's and sculptor's in the United States. And in the future you may see the elimination of other products that simply do no meet our expectations. We will make every effort to ensure every customer is satisfied with their purchase and overall experience.
