1/6 Deathbird Villainess "Wings of Death" 13-inch Resin Figure Model Kit. MODEL BRIEF: The resin figure has 18 solid resin cast pieces in gray. There is some flash around the talons (fingers) that will need some detailing, but other than the talons the parts are good quality casts. All parts are keyed for accurate fitting. There is an endless possibility of paint schemes for this sculpture. Each of the 18 parts are individually bubble wrapped for shipment. This statue requires assembly and painting.
As depicted in the 41st Issue of Amazing Figure Modeler magazine, this is quite an impressive statue produced by sculptor Scott Whitworth. The consigner for the statue is Resin Wonders.
HISTORY BRIEF: From the X-Men and Avengers comic book series is the Super-villainess "Deathbird". She first appeared as Ms Marvel during the 1970's. The Wings of Death (Deathbird) is a genetic mutant comes from a extraterrestrial race called the Shiar. Deathbird possesses superhuman strength with avian speed, stamina, agility, flexibility, reflexes, coordination, balance and endurance beyond the typical limits for those of her race, and wings for flight. Her talon-tipped fingers can tear through steal!
